OVERVIEW

The Extron IR Sensor with 3.3' (1.0 m) wire lead is used with the Extron SMD 101 H.264 Streaming Media Decoder. It offers flexible placement for IR reception from the optional SMD 101 Remote.

•  Accepts IR signals from the Extron SMD 101 Remote
The Extron IR Sensor can be used as an accessory for the IRL 20 IR receiver or the IR 102 Universal Remote Control Kit.  The diagram below is a reference for wire assignments during installation.

The diagram on the other side of this card shows the maximum accepted input signal angle and distance from an Extron IR remote control to the IR Sensor. 
The IR Sensor has a 3.3-foot (1.0-meter) cord.  
Do not extend the IR Sensor cable beyond 10 feet (3.0 meters).
